Testing space
What is a testing space?
A testing space is a special space designed to quickly test your world in the app. World creators can access the testing space from the app’s developer menu. For instructions, refer to the Help page.
While you are in the testing space, both normal uploads and “Test Upload” changes are reflected in real-time.
As of September 2024, testing spaces can only be created privately, and settings to allow friends to join without an invitation are not yet available.
We are planning to enable inviting others to testing spaces in the future.
By using “Test Upload,” you can upload the world to specific devices only. The fewer devices you select, the quicker the upload will complete.
Test upload
The steps to test upload a world are as follows. Test uploads are available after you have performed a regular upload.
- Open the world (Scene) you want to upload.
- Open the world upload window.
- From the menu, select “Cluster > World Upload.”
- Select the world to update.
- From the world list in the “World Upload” window, select the world you want to update.
- Upload the world (Scene).
- Select “Upload as ‘World Name’,” and a confirmation dialog will appear. Choose “Upload.”
- If “Success” is displayed for each processing item in the “World Upload” window, the upload is complete.
Content uploaded for testing is only reflected in the testing space and not in regular spaces.
On the other hand, regular uploads are reflected in both spaces.
Therefore, if the last upload was a test upload, the content in the regular space may be older than in the testing space.
Testing in-world purchases
In the testing space, you can purchase in-world items without consuming CC (Cluster Coins).
- You can reset your inventory from the developer menu.
- For scripting behavior, refer to the Cluster Creator Kit Script Reference.
